Many people have this problem although the highlight is clearly visible,
albeit pale, to most users. MS informally acknowledged it he http://blogs.msdn.com/excel/archive/...selection.aspx -- Jim "MGOETZ" wrote in message ... | When I select a range to edit, ( either by mouse or by shift+Arrow keys) | the selected is not highlighted. The row and column headers change colors but | the selected range does not. I am still getting used to the newer version and | I wonder if I have toggled this feature off somehow. | This appears to only be a problem if the cell color is white | (Automatic). If I pass over an altered color ( say, with a gray background) | cell or group of cells, then I can see the Higlighting taking place as they | are highlighted. | -- | MGOETZ | Mason,OH |
