Debra (or anyone),
Is there a way to hide ONLY the field I don't want to see? Specifically the field that is showing where the chart title should be located (top middle). I need to keep my other 3 fields. |

No, you can hide all the field buttons, but not just specific ones.

As an FYI for anyone else who might read this thread, I found a way AROUND
hiding the field I don't want to see [Specifically the field that is showing where the chart title should be located (top middle)]. Here's what you do . .. . Simply get a screen capture of the print screen of your chart (as this annoying "drop page fields here" bar does NOT print). Then crop out the portion of your background where the annoyance would normally be located. Then paste this "image" on top of the annoyance in your pivot chart. Viola! You've hidden what could not be singularly hidden. |
