Hi I have a column in a worksheet which has both currency & text which I use as the data source to make labels in Word The currency appears fine on the labels, however, the text come out as 0 & I have to manually correct each one. Can anyone tell me how to format this column please Martin Format it as "text", and it will accept whatever you enter without trying to "help" you by adjusting the appearance. One caveat, though: In the past, when I've formatted existing data as text, it hasn't worked. But, it does work on new data entered in empty cells. So, you may have to do some repair work the first time. For me, this has been a random occurrence - it doesn't always happen. Thanks for your reply Joe I'll give that a try -- Martin ©¿©¬ |
