Default PROJECT NOT VIEWABLE?

One of my friends has forwarded me an add-in however upon opening the same in
VBA Editor displays "Project is not viewable" without even asking for a
password? How can I apply the same technique on my projects as well.

I bet it's a difference in excel versions.

What version are you running? What version is your friend running?

Why must his be 2003?

But if you were using xl97 and he were using xl2k+, that would explain the
problem.

I don't have another guess.

Wait. Is the workbook shared?

Sorry 2 reply late but office hours ended up here last night!

This Add-in is old and that's why it can't be on 2007;
It's not shared. It was emailed to me. By the way, can an AddIn be also
shared?

I'm out of guesses.

What happened when you shared a workbook, then saved as an addin?
