Default modifing the find function

I would like to know how to set up a button that will open an input box and
search for a particular value in only one column. This would be similar to
find but with a specific range( one column) and would ask find next at the
end.

Thanks,

I have great news for you! FIND can be made to look at only one column.
Just select the column before you pull-down:

Edit Find
