Hello everyone,
We are currently using WindowsXPPro SP2, Office 2003 SP2, both with all of the latest updates. We use a workbook with 65 sheets and between 300 and 500 rows of data / sheet. Each row is for one product code. Presently, we store the Signal Code (availability status) for products on their respective row. This data is entered manually after verifying the status on a web page. I do not have the information on the database being accessed to get this information, sorry. I can run a web query for http://WebsiteNameHere/Part.asp?Comp...PartNumberHere and have it open up in a new sheet with 2 colums and 45 rows, then perform a vlookup for Signal Code and return the information from the next column for a given part number's status. Because of the amount of unique part numbers in the spreadsheet, I do not know of a practical way to run a web query for each individual part. Is there a way to extract ONLY the Signal Code from the Web page for each row, without opening a new sheet from a web query for each part number? Due to the amount of time it may take to update the entire workbook, we can run the update each weekend or, if it is easier, we can run the update for only 1 page at a time, whichever is easier to program. If there is any information which I have left out, please let me know. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
