Default Floating Cells?

I created a color-coded spreadsheet and and a Key. I don't want the key at
the top, but it will get lost at the bottom. Is there a way to group the Key
cells together and have them "float" - almost like a toolbar?
Thanks,
Pam

You could put them at the top and then use Window - Freeze Panes to lock
those rows.

Thank you Jim. I thought of that, but it ends up taking up too much space at
the top of the document. I am looking for something more fluid. However, if
there is no other option, I will probably do that.
