: Some of our study group have Excel 2003 while others have Excel 2007. Is there a patch available for Excel 2003 in order to use 2007 spreadsheets? There have been some small issues. Yes. If you try to open a .xlsx file in Excel 2003, it will ask whether you want to download a compatibility viewer. But if your Excel 2007 users save their file in Excel 97-2003 format (.xls) it should open just fine in Excel 2003. What "issues" are you having? -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA http://OakRoadSystems.com A: Maybe because some people are too annoyed by top posting. Q: Why do I not get an answer to my question(s)? A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? |
