When I highlight a cell and Insert a hyperlink to a folder, using that
hyperlink always results in a dual-pane Windows Explorer window opening up with a folders pane on the left side and a folder contents pane on the right side, and with the Folders button depressed in the Standard Buttons bar. This happens despite my having opened that folder previously by hand, and turning Folders OFF, and ensuring that for that folder, under Folder Options\View, I've already checked the box, "Remember each folder's view settings'. Is there a way to make the excel hyperlink honor the settings I've set for viewing the folder? |
