This is going to be difficult to explain - but I will do my best.
I have several co-workers that have had this happen. It doesn't matter what version they are using - some have Office XP, 2003 and now 2007. What happens is that you are in a paticular cell, it can be blank or have data in it. You try to move to another cell by either using arrows or clicking into another cell and it highlights the entire area. You can't do anything. I have tried to use various keys to see if something had been accidently touched but I haven't found anything yet. If you close the spreadsheet and reopen it, it will do the same thing. I have to reboot the computer. This is very frustrating for them and me because they expect me to have a answer and fix and I have no idea. It would be nice to know why it does it and if there is something to do to fix it if it happens without shutting everything down. Please help!! Very Frustrated. Shanny |
