Default Locked cells

Is is possible to give one person access to locked cells and deny another
user. I know I can stop them from saving any changes, but I'm afraid if they
make changes and print it and then not save, there will be a lot of printed
wrong changes.

Depending on version of Excel, you can lock the cells and not even allow those
cells to be selected by those without the password

I know this works in Excel 2002 and 2003 and does not in 97.
