Default Linking Workbooks

How can I link a range of cells to another workbook, using named cells, if
the data isn't located in the same position in each workbook?

Why is this a problem? Suppose a cell in your source workbook contains data
you want to access. You name this cell. Then in the destination workbook you
reference this cell by its name. The cells don't have to be in the same
place in the two workbooks.

Default Linking Workbooks

Stephen:

It works fine if I link one cell at a time. I'm having a problem linking
C11:N11 (named total1) from the source workbook to E11:P11 in the destination
workbook.

I go to the destination workbook, highlight E11:P11, press =, select the
source workbook from the windows menu, press F3 and click ok, and press
enter. A linked amount appears only in cell E11 of the destination workbook.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
