A tiny trick is needed.
1. Select cells 2. Pull down: Format Cells... Border 3. Pick the color notice all the Styles change color!! 4. then apply the border You can not apply borders first and then apply the color. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200757 "jacobite" wrote: Hi Soundar I tried that... but it doesn't appear to work... very strange. Seems to default to black. d. "Soundar" wrote: Hi, You can change the border color as follows: Select the cells -- Format -- Cells -- Border (Tab) -- Color. Regards, Soundar. "jacobite" wrote: this should be really easy, but I just can't workout how to do it. I have selected a few cells and made the border thick. I now want to change the colour of the border (but only this border) - but can't figure it out...? Any ideas? cheers j. |
