this should be really easy, but I just can't workout how to do it. I have
selected a few cells and made the border thick. I now want to change the colour of the border (but only this border) - but can't figure it out...? Any ideas? cheers j. |

Hi,
You can change the border color as follows: Select the cells -- Format -- Cells -- Border (Tab) -- Color. Regards, Soundar. Hi Soundar
I tried that... but it doesn't appear to work... very strange. Seems to default to black. d. Hi,
Once you change the color, you need to re-select the border you want for the new colour to show up, don't know why changing the colour just doesn't change the border when you click ok, but there you go :) stevefromnaki :) "jacobite" wrote: Hi Soundar I tried that... but it doesn't appear to work... very strange. A tiny trick is needed.
1. Select cells 2. Pull down: Format Cells... Border 3. Pick the color notice all the Styles change color!! 4. then apply the border You can not apply borders first and then apply the color. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200757 "jacobite" wrote: Hi Soundar I tried that... but it doesn't appear to work... very strange.
