Default Customize color of down-arrow on filter column heading?

On the column heading of a filtered column is a little down-arrow (a
downward-pointing triangle). When the column is filtered, this down-arrow
turns blue. However, on my monitor, the size and color of the blue
down-arrow are hard to distinguish from the normal black of an unfiltered
column.

Is there any way to get Excel to use a different color for that down-arrow?

I'm using Excel 2003 on Windows XP.

Thanks.

Hi Eric
No you can't alter the colour or size of the triangle.
However, Debra Dagleish has an example file with code to colour the whole
cell of any Autofilter cell which has selection applied.
