Default Searching for info in a separate workbook

Bear with me on this...I have a worksheet that contains post office
information. Certain offices are tagged with having certain workhour
functions that others don't. If the office has the targeted function within
it, I need it to go to a workbook in a different location to find the
specific amount of hours used for that function and return the value to the
original sheet. For instance, if the office ZIP code were "40205", I would
need it to find a file called "40205_3998X.xls" in another location and go to
the sheet and find the amount of workhours in a particular function.
Complicated, I know. But doable?
