We have office 2003 and work with XP and we went to open Excel (which had
been working previously) an error came up and said it couldn't open and says: The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the €śMicrosoft XP Small Business€ť and click ok. When I hit he cancel button it says: Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM Drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see C:\Program\Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\SETUP.HLP. If anyone has any ideas as to what's going on let me know!! |

Can't help you then. I will not ask how you ended up with XP on your system
when you only have 2003 but without an XP disk when it is looking for an XP file is not an issue that we can resolve. Either upgrade to 2003 or get the XP disk. -- HTH...
