For some reason when I open up an excel file after the first mouse movement
it is freezing and I cannot exit. I get a message that says can't quit.
what do you reccomend? thank you

I also get similar situations of freezing and computer refusing to close
excel
try thi
control+alt+delete
highlight the particular excel file in the window
click <end task
you may have to do once or twice even thrice
the whole excel would go off

this is only episodic and I cannot explain why
