Default Freeze panes in an HTML page (saved from Excel)

Hi,

I have a very simple spreadsheet which is long enough to warrant using the
freeze panes functionality.

It is also saved as a webpage so it can be placed on the internet. However,
when it is saved as HTML, you lose the freeze panes functionality.

Is there anyway of retaining this?

Suggestions more than welcome.

Many thanks
