What is the 'Excel12.pip" file?

Is it the preferences for the toolbars?

The article did not list 'Excel12.pip', but
it did explain the older *.pip files.

While the article says the file can be used to re-set . I suppose it can be
used as a backup for the current setup, right?

Does this file have anything to do with the Quick Access Toolbar? What do
you think? ...use the .pip file along with *.qat files?
