Default How to display figures with thousand omitted

Hi all

Wish to format a cell to display numeric figures with thousand omitted.
i.e, say HK$1,789,123.00 to display as HK$1,789
How can I do that? (rather than dividing the cell by 1,000 then limit
decimal places to 0)

Thanks very much
Simon
