Default Excel 2003: Freeze Pane with List boxes

Hi All,

I have an excel sheet, a pretty huge one, that queries ANALYSIS CUBES
(database) to get the data onto its sheet. I have a sheet where a
particular set of columns are frozen in the left. Since the sheet
which is a report has data for months, I'll have to scroll to the
right of the sheet.

When I do so, a set of list boxes that are placed on the frozen area
are moved from their original location. The more I scroll to the
right, the more it moves to the left and disappears and the list box
loses its functionality.

I am using EXcel 2003, heard about a similar byg in Excel '97. Can
anyone help me out with this problem?

Hi,

I am not able to reproduce the scenario. It works fine on my system.

Some clarification:

1. Have you created a list using Data -List- Create List. That means your
list has arrows on the header. Am I right?
2. Do you mean List converted to range.

Hi Challa,

I am not sure of the data validation part, I am debugging someone
else's code. If that validation list is something where I cannot enter
my own values, then I cant do that in the sheet!!!!

I meant a Dropdown box as a list :-(, the dropdown moves outta
place!!!!

Mny Thanks,
~Haarish
