Default In Excel can you select freeze pane and split screen on same page

In Excel 2000 can you select freeze pane and split screen on same page and
have both options function properly?

Default In Excel can you select freeze pane and split screen on same page

But you could use

Window|New window
then window|arrange (horizontal)
and have multiple windows in view and do anything you want in each window???
