Default Excel 2003 not getting proper data from Sharepoint 2007 calendar l

Hi,

I have MOSS site (SharePoint 2007) with a calendar list

Fields in the Calendar List
Recurrence (a header with a picture)
Attachment (a header with a picture)
Workspace (a header with a picture)
Title
Location
Start Time
End Time

I'm trying to get the data in excel using either "Export to Spreadsheet" or
using the IQY file.

Excel 2007
------------
All the columns are fetched in excel in the form of a Table (list). Even
columns which have pictures as heading are fetched into Excel and the
pictures are changed to text heading.

The issue is with Excel 2003.
-----------------------------
When trying to get data all the columns which has pictures as heading are
stripped in the list data that is generated. Also any column which has data
stored has TRUE/False or 0/1 is also stripped from the list.

If instead a SharePoint 2003 is used then the data is fetched correctly.

Is there any way to get the data related to the columns containing pictures
as headers, especially the "Recurrence" field????
