Cursor Movement in Excel 2000 V9.0.3821 SR-1
On a simple spreadsheet with nine columns, the cursor should return to the
first column and next next open cell when Enter is pressed. I have a brace on my left arm and think I must have mistakenly pressed something that has affected cursor movement. Now when the Enter is pressed, the cursor moves one cell to the left on the same line. I looked at the Help menu, which suggested dragging the highlighted cell and using the Shift key to whereever I wanted it. This hasn't worked despite trying it several times. Can someone help me correct this undoubtedly simple function so that the cursor returns to the next open cell in the cirst column? Having to move it every time is making me nuts. Thank you. |
