Default Excel not opening files correctly

Hallo,

This was all fine until yesterday when I updated my computer on the
Microsoft Update site. When I want to open an excel file, it doesnt open the
file. It only opens the Excel Program with no worksheet open. Then I have to
open the file through excel ie. going to "File" then "Open" and then select
the file.

Please help. I dont know why this is happening!!

Thank you!
