Conditional formatting row
Hey guys,
I'm sure this has been asked before, because it seems like such a basic feature.... but I cannot find it. How can I conditionally format a row, based on the contents of a cell? I basically want to use colors, to highlight quickly rows of interest based on various criteria. Hopefully its something simple i'm missing and dont have to revert to too much code. Thanks |

Hi Derek
basically you need to select the rows, ensuring that the row where you to start using the conditional formatting on is the at the top of the screen and then the conditional formatting options a choose formula is type =$A150 (or whatever) and set your formatting. Check out http://www.contextures.com/xlCondFormat02.html for more info. Cheers JulieD "derek" wrote in message ...
