i have a mailing list in excell and i am trying to mailmerge it in word. but
if there is a 0 (zero) as the first digit in the zip code, it gets dropped in the mail merge. i have already tried putting text(A3,"00000") A3 being the cell in another column and then filling down, but it's still not working. any suggestions? |

Which sid are you having the problem on? Does it look right in Excel but
wrong in word? Or can you not get it to look right anywhere? And what i just thought of, what format is the zip code in? US? -- -John Please rate when your question is answered to help us and others know what is helpful. unfortunately it looks wrong in both places. when i type the 0 in in excell,
it shows up on the chart but not in the box up top where you type everything in. and yes, it is US zip codes. "John Bundy" wrote: Which sid are you having the problem on?
