I have multiple spreadsheets written in Excel 97 and 03 and they can
be read by anything from 97 to 03. Now we need to use these file on Excel 2007 machines and there is no compatabiity. How do we read a 97 file in 2007. I know I can save a 2007 in 97 format, but how to do the reverse? ed |

xl2007 can open files that were saved in xl97-xl2003. (And earlier!).
Maybe you should describe what doesn't work. ed wrote: I have multiple spreadsheets written in Excel 97 and 03 and they can be read by anything from 97 to 03.
