Default Security in macro

I have created a macro and when I try to run it I get a security error and it
says to change my security from high to low. When I go to Tools - Macro -
Security and change it to low, I get the same error when I try to run the
macro. What is wrong?

You have to close that workbook and reopen it with the setting changed.

(That setting is not retroactive to workbooks that are currently open.)
