Default how do I modify and save a default footer?

I want to save a footer format to appear in future excel workbooks. How to
do this?

Default how do I modify and save a default footer?

Create a new workbook, put your desired footer in all sheets in it, save it
as a template (*.xlt), name it book.xlt in the XLSTART directory, exit
Excel. All NEW workbooks will be as desired.
