Default Excel 2007 cannot copy using mouse

After upgrading to 2007 I can no long mark and area with the mouse. When I
click on the mouse and drag it over some cells to mark them to copy a dialog
box imidiately comes up asking if I want to insert ???
We have Excel 2007 on another PC and here it works fine, just like normal.
Any setting I can do to fix this problem. I often want to mark an area and
print this, now I can only mark it by using SHIFT + arrows on the keyboard.

Also I've put another question here that the Shortcut Ctrl+ plus sign on the
right of the keyboard doesn't work only if I use the Plus sign above the
letters. This problem we have on both computers.
