Default Averaging Time

I am trying to average out the handle time of a list of reps. I have the
times already in the cells for the past week. I just need to know how to
write the formula. The times are shown as follows 0:4:34 (day1), 0:5:36
(Day2), 0:7:12(day3). the time is HH:MM:SS.

Please help

Default Averaging Time

with:

0:04:34
0:05:36
0:07:12
in A1 thru A3

=AVERAGE(A1:A3)

will display:

0:05:47

with the same format
