I have a column full of various dates that look like: 6/1/07 but they are
typed into the cell as 6107 and an input mask adds the slashes. Because of this setup, I can't sort the dates. Is there a way for me to reformat these dates so they can be sorted as dates without retyping all of them by hand? |

Can you give an example of how the dates are listed?
1107 = 1/1/07 11107 = 1/11/07 or 11/1/07 111007 = 1/10/07 "MEAD5432" wrote: I have a column full of various dates that look like: 6/1/07 but they are typed into the cell as 6107 and an input mask adds the slashes. And on top of Barb's questions:
is 1/11/07 January 11, 2007 or November 1, 2007 or even worse... January 7, 1911 or January 7, 2011???
