Default drop down list is not showing

I have created an excel file containing combo boxes which has been
distributed to colleagues. For myself and others, the combo boxes work fine.
However, one particular person says that the drop down boxes are not working
for her (nothing appears in the list). She seems to be opening the file
correctly (i.e. allowing macros when asked) but I'm wondering if she may have
her options/settings set up differently which is resulting in the combo boxes
effectively being disabled. By the way, the sheet containing the combo boxes
is protected by password, except for the cell references for the combo boxes
of course. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Can anyone suggest where the problem might lie? Thanks,
