Cannot paste between 2 excel spreadsheets w/o office clipboard ope
When I have 2 separate excel spreadsheets open (not worksheets but 2
different spreadsheet files) I cannot copy/paste without going through the office clipboard functions. |

Hi,
If you have two different worksheet files, do the following: 1. Double-click on the titile bar of each workbook files. You will have two different windows of each file on the desktop. Arrange the windows in such a way that you could easily move data across the files.. 2. Now select the cells you want to copy to the next worksheet file. 3. Press the Ctrl key and drag and drop to the next Worksheet file - (Windows). Note: This method of movement will not store a copy in the clipboard.
