is it only appropriate to insert *different* data into *individual* cells...
If it is just for display it won't do any harm but I would recommend against
it due to that if you want to do any sort of calculation a good standard would be to separate numbers from text or else the formulas involved will be much more complicated and probably a lot slower on a grander scale of data.
