Independent radio buttons so I can select more than one
Excel 2003 - Is there a way to group radio buttons so I can select more than
one? There are 5 different questions that need are tied to radio buttons and I would like these radio buttons to be independent to each other so I can select a radio button for each question. Thanks |

If you used optionbuttons from the Forms toolbar, put a groupbox (also on that
same toolbar) around the optionbuttons. If you used optionbuttons from the control toolbox toolbar, rightclick on each of the members of the group, choose properties, and give that group a unique groupname. (You may need to hit the design mode icon first.) You may want to try the form at Debra Dalgleish's site: http://contextures.com/xlForm01.html duketter wrote: Excel 2003 - Is there a way to group radio buttons so I can select more than one? I used this approach: If you used optionbuttons from the Forms toolbar, put a
groupbox (also on that same toolbar) around the optionbuttons. However I now have a box/border around each of the groupings. Anyway to remove this on the excel spreadsheet so the border is not visible? Thanks! You can hide the groupbox in code. Or with just a one liner:
Hit alt-f11 to get to the VBE hit ctrl-g to see the immediate window type this and hit enter. activesheet.groupboxes.visible = false If you only want to hide a single groupbox, you can use something like: activesheet.groupboxes("group box 1").visible = false duketter wrote: I used this approach: If you used optionbuttons from the Forms toolbar, put a groupbox (also on that same toolbar) around the optionbuttons.
