Default Referenced Cell information

I have a spreadsheet that contains mulitiple worksheets, I'm able to copy
information form one spreadsheet to any of the others, however I would also
like to be able to copy any attributes like font, color, etc. Does anyone
know if this is possible and if so how do it???? thanks in advance for your
support

John

Excel's default is to also copy the formatting.

If not happening try the two-step operation.

1. Copy and paste the information

2. EditPaste SpecialFormatting

OR make sure ToolsOptionsEdit "show paste options button" is checked

You will then be able to select "keep source formatting"

I hate that little button so much I would rather do the two-step if I have to.

Gord,

Thanks for the information, however, I think I may have miss-stated what I'm
trying to do. Here is an example:

in one of the worksheet I reference a cell using =PROJLST!A3, if I change
the color or font ect on the PROJLST worksheet I would like that information
passed on to any other worksheet that has that same reference.
