Does anyone know how to/if I can change the font for an entire document
without changing it for every document thereafter? |

Start a new workbook.
Set up everything you want--headers/footers/layout/font... Save it as book.xlt in your XLStart folder. Then excel will use that when you create a new workbook by clicking on the new icon on the standard toolbar. If you want the same thing when you add a new worksheet to an existing workbook, save another workbook (probably a single sheet???) in that same XLStart folder--but name it Sheet.xlt. exflirt wrote: Does anyone know how to/if I can change the font for an entire document without changing it for every document thereafter? -- Dave Peterson |

Change Default Font in Excel for Document Only?
Thanks, but I'm don't think that's what I'm trying to do. I don't want to
change how every document operates, just a specific document. For example, I have a document titled Client Information and I would like to set it so that every cell I type in has Garamond font, but I don't want to change my default font for Excel documents. Does that make sense? Does anyone know how to do this? "Dave Peterson" wrote: Start a new workbook. Set up everything you want--headers/footers/layout/font... Right-click on a sheet tab and "Select all sheets"
CTRL + a(twice in 2003) to select all cells. FormatCellsFontGaramondOk your way out. Right-click on a sheet tab and "ungroup sheets" Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 15 Mar 2007 13:20:35 -0700, exflirt wrote: Thanks, but I'm don't think that's what I'm trying to do. I thought you wanted to change that setting once and never have to change it
again. Glad Gord helped you. exflirt wrote: Thanks, but I'm don't think that's what I'm trying to do. I don't want to change how every document operates, just a specific document.
