Excel 2000 - Trouble Opening File
Working with 2 large files yesterday and they saved properly. Now when
attempting to open it appears that Excel is near point of opening and then files do not appear and no message is provided to give reason for non-opening. Is there any means to restore these files? -- pbuc |

Excel 2000 - Trouble Opening File
How are you attempting to open them? From within Excel after you've already
started it, or by double-clicking the filename in their folder? If you're trying to open them directly (via double-click the filename) try opening Excel first and then browsing to them and trying to open them that way. If you're trying by double-clicking in a folder, is Excel even starting up? It doesn't sound like Excel is even starting by the way you wrote it up.
