Default change cell colour due to a specific data set

How do I automatically change the cell in-fill colour within a excel
worksheet due to a preset formula outcome or single data set?

eg. If cell formula = X, cell colour changes to red

Hi there,

Check out Conditional Formatting. If using 2003 or prior, look under the
Format menu.
