Default Drop Down Pick List

I am new to excel and would like to know if it's possible to have a drop down
pick list. I need users to pick from a specific list instead of having them
type what they want. I don't want the list to filter.

Thanks,
Mickey

Default Drop Down Pick List

Select the cell in which you want the drop-down. Then from the menu bar,
select Data / Validation. Choose List in the first drop-down and then type
the valid entries in the next text box (A,B,C ...) or, better yet, reference
a named list elsewhere in your workbook.
