I am having a small problem that I was hoping someone in this group
could help me with. I have a team website with seperate password protected pages for each team member on a company intranet . I have an excel workbook that has a page for each team member that details the amount of bonus earnings and pay date for this money. I want to publish the workbook such that each person can only see his or her page. I would rather save the workbook one time and link to individual pages somehow. This way, when I update the workbook, I can resave it to the website under the same name and have the information on the individual pages update as well. Is there a way to do this without having to hide pages, save as a web page (once for each agent), and import the webpages? |

There is no safe way of publishing a single workbook and hoping to keep
sepearte pages private with workbook/sheet protection. Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of Excel and the ability to do a Google search would have the protection removed within minutes which in you case given that the data are about salaries/bonuses could cause problems. One way could be to have your master workbook with all the data in and seperate workbooks for each team member that contained only their data sheets. The data sheets could be paste - linked to the appropriate sheet in the master document (yours) and so would update with the latest data every time they were opened.
