Default compatibility of XL 2007 with openoffice 2.0

Anyone know if XL 2007 is compatible with openoffice 2.0? If not, anyone
aware of if/when it will be compatible?

Me thinks the question is cart-before-horse
When will OO to XL2007 compatible it the right question, since (at least for
now) Excel is considered the standard
