Default Linking Excel to Excel

I have Excel files A & B. I have brought in one of the Excel A sheets into
Excel B using the "Import External Data" feature. The reason behind this
whole thing is to be able to view the particular sheet from Excel A in the
Excel B without opening Excel A.

Unfortunately, Excel B does not retain the same formatting (highlighting of
cells, cells aligning, etc.) as Excel A.

Is there a way we can do to make it the Excel A looks?

Thanks.
