how do in input phone numbers starting with 0 into excel
i tried to input mobile phone numbers into an excel spreadsheet but the 0 at
the beginning always disappears. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem? |

Try formatting the cell and changing it to a text format. This will allow

There's a telephone number format that might work. It's based on your OS
regional settings. FormatCellsNumber tabSpecial. If that doesn't work then you can preformat the cell as TEXT or precede the entry with an apostrophe: '020-10-555-1212 Biff "Please Help" <Please wrote in message ... i tried to input mobile phone numbers into an excel spreadsheet but the 0 at the beginning always disappears. Putting a space anywhere in the phone number will solve the problem if this
