Try formatting the cell and changing it to a text format. This will allow
the 0 to remain at the start. If you need help doing this, please just reply. Cheers, Matt "Please Help" wrote: i tried to input mobile phone numbers into an excel spreadsheet but the 0 at the beginning always disappears. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem? |

There's a telephone number format that might work. It's based on your OS
regional settings. FormatCellsNumber tabSpecial. If that doesn't work then you can preformat the cell as TEXT or precede the entry with an apostrophe: '020-10-555-1212 Biff "Please Help" <Please wrote in message ... i tried to input mobile phone numbers into an excel spreadsheet but the 0 at the beginning always disappears.
