Opening Worksheet
When clicking on a xls file, system opens excel but error comes up saying
'Windows cannot find m:\....\....\addition.xls - Please check to see if it's there...' I know the file is there because I clicked on it and also can open manually through excel via File/Open. Any ideas? Extremely annoying. Also, it only happens in excel an not in my other office products. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated |

Opening Worksheet
Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on
the file in windows explorer: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults. Maybe one of these will work for you.
