Need to open Excel, but without a new workbook opening with it? Would like to
just have the excel toolbar at top and no worksheet or workbook visable? Ideas? Thanks, Chris |

Create a new shortcut to excel.exe
But add /e (spacebar slash e) to the end of the target. excel.exe /e If you look in xl's help for "Customize how Excel starts", you'll see more info.
